Highway 34 goes through the town of Estes Park and provides access to Lake Estes. If coming from Loveland, the lake will be on your left once you start to enter town.

There are a number of campgrounds surrounding the lake and you are sure to find the perfect spot. You have to experience sleeping out under the stars with the Rocky Mountains surrounding you to really feel the magic of visiting this area.

With the snow-capped mountains and everything white and shimmering, Lake Estes is a great place to be. You can cross-country ski or snowshoe around the lake.
At Lake Estes you’ll find a marina that provides just about anything you’d need for a wonderful time. Rent boats, bikes, get a fishing license, go swimming, play volleyball or horseshoes.
Boating on Lake Estes is restricted to wakeless so be sure to take note of this. Ice fishing is not permitted on the lake.
